Sue and Jim Get an Update (Finally!)

After sitting on the backburner for months as we finished up other projects, the Powerpoint tutorial is finally getting updated. Our editors are revising the content for Powerpoint 2003 and we will upload to the www.actden.com site in early January 2007.

Thanks to all of our loyal teachers and trainers who have continued to support our site. As soon as we get our hands on a copy, Powerpoint 2007 will be coming as well.

Just a note to give you the pat on the back you deserve for the Power Point Tutorial. I use Mavis Beacon teaches Office and it is good, but very dry. I will follow up with your tutorial to give the children a much needed fun way to actually use the tools in Power Point! Really good work, we don't have a big budget and it is hard to find quality "free" material! Hope you continue! Thanks!

The powerpoint tutorial is good, but the cheesy dialogue/banter is awful. Why not just do it straight? I've been a teacher for 22 years, and it was wasteful, even embarrassing, to wade through all the joke-stuff.

Smooth layout, too bad the Q&A technique is stereotypically humdrum. I wouldn't use this in a classroom unless I'm showing -yawn- another example of gender bias in the web development industry.

Thanks for offering this tutorial. I found it helpful for myself before teaching the students on my own. I intend to go back to it as I delve more into the world of PP (actually I use Open Office but your tutorial is still on the mark).
